After a long, long, long airplane ride, I arrived in Sydney at 7am Monday morning. I am now speaking to you all from the future. The plane ride was fine but I should have bought two seats so I could stretch out just a bit. It was cramped but there was plenty of time to get up and stretch your legs. Since it was literally a midnight flight, I figured, hey, pop a snoozer and sleep through it. Do you think that worked? Not really. I had intermittent naps. That is about it. On the plus side, movies were provided via the airline at no charge.
Soo, the flight landed and as sleep deprived as I was, I was determined to make it through the day so I could sleep normally tonight. All I can say is I found a beach, pulled up my compression socks and walked right in, crocs in hand. The water is absolutely beautiful. Florida ain’t got nothing on these crystal waters.
I rode the train to an from locations, took a ferry to see Sydney Harbor, and had some of the most delicious coffee ever tasted. Colin was a coffee-snob (his words) and he enjoyed fine coffee. He would have loved this stuff!
I took with my phone, because my silly butt forgot my insta360 at the hotel. I plan on retracing some of my steps tomorrow to get the sites in video form.
I am having trouble uploading my pictures onto this blog, but I will figure that out tomorrow. I am whooped.
Goodnight, y’all!
Breakfast!
