For Mom and Dad

Today started early again. Today is the day we part ways with Graeme and Katrina and start plotting our own route with a lot of helpful suggestions. Today was the day I rode the Snowy River National Park road.

I am blessed to have parents that guided me into many different types of culture. One of the approved movies I watched as a child was “The Man From Snowy River”. It was released in 1982. It is about a mountain boy who becomes a man, so to speak, with the help of his mountain horse, Denny. If you haven’t seen the movie, watch it. That is all I can say.

I also had the honor of riding with Graeme and Katrina. As many roads as they have traveled, I was privileged to have guides that showed me this amazing part of Australia. It is one thing to get on the highway and hit all the major cities. This, this right here was the best motorcycle ride I have ever been on. I will post videos and pictures to the best of my ability but this is for you Mom and Dad. I wish y’all could have ridden it with me.

This was to date, the best ride of my life. I feel very grateful to my hosts Graeme and Katrina and my chaser car Liz.

After the amazing ride in the mountains, Graeme, Katrina, and I parted ways, but I can guarantee. I will be back to the land of Oz to see them again.

Cheers and don’t be a nutter!

Beautiful country. Did you see any horses or livestock?
Thanks, Graeme and Katrina for showing our Walkabout daughter a good time.

We went looking for brumbies today but didn’t see any. Tomorrow is to the Healsville Sanctuary. I am hoping to see a platypus at least! We saw wild roos today but it got dark and we came back to the resort. Im still looking for a huntsman spider!!!
